Practically Present: An Introduction to Mindfulness for Modern Life

Learning to be mindfully present can drastically change the quality of our lives and transform the way we connect with ourselves and those we care about. The modern world doesn’t make it easy, and yet, it IS possible. Research has shown mindfulness helps reduce stress, improve sleep, enhance overall well-being, and facilitate greater feelings of connection and closeness to others.

During this course you will explore techniques that will help you learn to:

  • Calm your nervous system, and be more grounded in the here and now

  • Connect with your body as a source of wisdom

  • Work more skillfully with stress and difficult emotions

  • Relate to yourself with greater acceptance and kindness

  • Create space for a practical and nourishing ritual of presence that fits into your busy life
